BlackPoliticsontheWeb.com: CDC Reports High HIV Infection Rates in Communities of Color, Men Who Have Sex With Men

The CDC is still playing games with pertinent information that will save lives. This article talks about PREVENTION, but didn't say one word about how to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS.

The #1 way the HIV/AIDS virus is spread is via backdoor sex (anal sex). Even when using a condom, it breaks easier in the anus than in the vagina. Women should NEVER ever have backdoor sex because they have an alternative (vagina) and if gay men must have sex that way, they must follow procedures of loads of lubricant because unlike the vagina that gets moist when arroused, the anus does not because it is not a sex organ.

And finally less than 400 Black women died of HIV/.AIDS in 2007, and it is 500 times harder for a women to give it to a man than it is for a man to give it to a woman. Lastly, there are no confirmed cases of woman to woman transmissions sexually.

Yes, Black Women Need Love, Too!

We must stop distortions with statistics and I believe those numbers are speculative due to adding in that 25 percent of people living with HIV/AIDS don't know it and they are putting those numbers in the Black heterosexual category (vastly with Black females), so to change the face of HIV/AIDS to being a Black (female) disease instead of a gay white males--that's pure racism!

far too much money involved in this HIV AIDS dilemma for us to not look at it from all angles. please go to aliveandwell.org and others to suss out this information from the cdc. these statistics and this attack on Black peoples sexuality is really serious. to have someone constantly pumping us unproven information and stats that are swollen due to definition changes is so unfair. and we are either blindly excepting or turning our heads as our pockets are filled and our car notes are paid and our mortgages are paid. We owe ourselves more than this. please get more info than the cdc. To many dangerous things are passed on to us by these government agencies. we must take responsibility for our health and our health information.

Africa Action's executive director, Salih Booker accused the Ugandan government of bowing to the Bush administration's ideologically motivated financial aid policy by creating "an artificial condom shortage, where the government continues to hold tens of millions of quality-assured condoms in warehouses."
