I am most pleased that the President-elect has asked Congress to slow this train down from anaolg to digital. Mr. Obama is correct - it will cause a tremendous hardship on those he sited that will encounter problems - both financial and access.

This is an industry bill that will boost their pockets - not a consumer bill. There are two many people that just can not afford cable or the boxes. With the economy such as it is - there is no time to force people into purchasing that which they can not afford.

I plead with Congress to cooperate with Mr. Obama in delaying this transition until things can be worked out. To put it more bluntly - Why is this needed anyway?
